Terms of Use — QuantRoute: GMAT & GRE Quant

These terms are the agreement between you and Imran, the developer of QuantRoute: GMAT & GRE Quant ("the app", "we", "us"). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

The short version. Part of the app is free, with no account and no card. QuantRoute Pro opens the rest. You can buy it once (it never renews) or, where offered, as a monthly subscription. Everything is sold through Google Play: you cancel a subscription in Google Play, and refunds are handled by Google Play.

1. What the app is

The app helps you practise the quantitative (math) part of the GMAT and GRE. It is an educational tool. We do not promise any particular score, grade or result. GMAT is a trademark of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and GRE is a trademark of ETS. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by either of them.

2. The free part

You can use the free part of the app without paying and without an account. We may change what is free for new content, but we will not take away anything you have already paid for.

3. QuantRoute Pro, prices and billing

• What it is. QuantRoute Pro opens the parts of the app that are marked Pro. The purchase screen lists them before you pay.
• How it is sold. As a one-time purchase that never renews and, where offered, as an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Both are sold and processed by Google Play Billing.
• Prices. You pay the price Google Play shows you, in your own currency, before you confirm. Prices differ between countries and may change; a change never affects something you have already paid for.
• Renewal. A subscription renews automatically each month at the then-current price until you cancel. The one-time purchase does not renew.
• Cancelling. Cancel a subscription in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, not inside the app. You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for.
• New phone. Use Settings → Restore purchases in the app, signed in with the same Google account you bought with.

4. Refunds

Purchases are made through Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play's refund policy and are requested from Google, not from us. Where the law of your country gives you more rights to cancel or be refunded, those rights apply and nothing here limits them.

5. Your progress

Your learning progress lives on your phone. Keeping your phone and its backups is your responsibility; we cannot recover progress we never received. What we do with the little data that leaves your phone is in our Privacy Policy, and how to delete it is on Delete your data.

6. Fair use

Please do not: use the app to break the law; try to get paid content without paying; or interfere with, overload or reverse engineer the app or the services behind it. If you use the online leaderboard, please pick a nickname that is not abusive and does not pretend to be someone else; we may remove an entry or switch off online features for anyone who breaks this.

7. Content and ownership

The app, its lessons, questions, explanations, artwork and name belong to us and are protected by copyright. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own learning. You may not copy, resell or redistribute its content.

8. Changes and availability

The app works offline. Buying, restoring purchases and the optional online features (leaderboard, feedback, sync) need the internet and depend on services we do not control, so they may sometimes be unavailable. We may add, change or remove features. If we ever have to remove a paid feature entirely, we will say so in the app in advance.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, free of errors or fit for a particular purpose, and our total liability to you for any claim connected with the app is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Age

The app is made for adults preparing for graduate-school admission tests and is not directed at children under 13.

11. Ending this agreement

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may end this agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break section 6. Ending it does not by itself give a refund for something already paid for.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction, except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim in your own local courts.
